Nathan Gale Hedrick , age 70, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at his home. He was born on September 18, 1948, in Franklin, WV, the son of the late Galen Daniel and Cornelia J. (Simmons) Hedrick. On September 19, 1966, Nathan married Virginia Mae (Sites) Hedrick, who survives in Franklin.

Mr. Hedrick was a 1966 graduate of Franklin High School and member of Ruddle Presbyterian Church and he also attended Main Mountain Freewill Baptist Church in Upper Tract, WV. He had worked for 27 years for Allied Egry, in Petersburg, WV. He had also worked at ATCO and he retired in 2014 from Franklin Oil Company. Nathan was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, riding his Kabota, and attending ballgames to support family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Nathan is survived by: 2 daughters, Jamie Hedrick of Franklin, and Andrea Michael (Gary) of Petersburg; 4 grandchildren, Cassandra Smail, Randal Smail, Ryanne Michael, and Drew Michael; and his faithful companion, "Buddy", his dog.

Mr. Hedrick's family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2019, 2-4 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, with funeral services following at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Glenn Sites officiating.
