Osward Kenneth "Ken" Warner, age 73, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in Franklin, as the result of a logging accident. He was born on March 27, 1946, in Cherry Grove, WV, the son of the late Richard McKendria and Ruth Belle (Mullenax) Warner. On December 5, 1964, Ken married Carolyn Sue (Simmons) Warner, who survives in Franklin.

Mr. Warner attended Circleville Schools and was a self-employed logger.  He was a member of the Franklin Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Warner is survived by: a daughter, Melissa Jo Wisman, of Harrisonburg,VA; a son, Richard "Rick" Kenneth Warner (Cecilia), of Marriottsville, MD; 5 grandchildren, Erika and Haley Wisman, Christopher, Matthew, and Daniel Warner; 2 sisters, Debra Simmons (Marshall), Dianne Auville (Roland) of Seneca Rocks, WV; and 4 brothers, Billy Warner of Cherry Grove, WV, Jimmie Warner (Charlotte) of Cherry Grove, WV, Hal Warner of Blue Grass, VA, and Laird Warner (Josie) of Cherry Grove, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a brother, Roger Lee Warner; and 2 sisters, Carolyn "Kitty" Simmons, and Elaine Simmons.

Mr. Warner's family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2019, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM  in the funeral home chapel with Brother Hilrey Heckler officiating.
