Owen Wayne Brunk , age 83, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA. He was born on January 26, 1942, in Deer Park, MD, the son of the late Owen Kenneth and Niomi (Arnold) Brunk.

Owen was a graduate of Westminister High School and was a Lutheran by faith. He had worked as Chief of Police in Hampstead Maryland and retired as a truck driver. Owen enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles.

Owen leaves behind to cherish his memory: a daughter, Dawn Frame (Charles) of Brandywine, WV; 2 sons, Owen Wayne Brunk, Jr. (Lisa) of Taneytown, MD, Brian Henry Brunk (Tammy) of Taneytown, MD; a sister, Patricia Brown (Jim) of Wyoming; a brother, Robert Brunk (Connie) of Tawny Town, MD; 10 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; and 5 nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a son, William Patrick; and 3 sisters, Sandra, Debbie and Brenda.

In honoring Owen's wishes, his body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to South Fork Volunteer Fire Department. Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com.
