Pamela Sue Rexrode, age 62, of Moyers, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 20, 2024, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. She was born on February 13, 1962, in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of Violet Rose Eye of Sugar Grove, WV and the late Harry A. Eye. On November 23, 1991, Pam married Johnny Lee Rexrode, who preceded her in death on January 14, 2023.
Pam was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1980. While a senior she worked as an aide in Ms. Carolyn Ruddle's Kindergarten class. She worked at the Maple Restaurant in Monterey, VA; was a homemaker for the late Edith Gutshall; a nurse's aide at Pendleton Nursing Home; and worked at Hanover Shoe until its closing.
In addition to her mother, Pam leaves behind to cherish her memory: a brother, Michael Eye (Kathy) of Sugar Grove, WV; a niece, Bethany Eye; aunts, Mary Louise Waldschlager, Joeann Moyers, Linda Jones (Tom); uncle, Delbert Rexrode (Betty); a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Melvin and Terry Rexrode. In addition to her father (12-2-2015), she was preceded in death by her only child, Derek John Rexrode on May 5, 2015.
Pam's family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Church Cemetery, Sugar Grove, WV. Memorials may be made to: PAWS, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com.
