Patricia Mae Cutlip , age 69, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on
Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home.  She was born on May 1,
1955, in Philippi, WV, the daughter of the late Franklin Delano and
Juanita May (McDonald) Thorne.  She was previously married to Kenny
Cutlip who survives in Cabins, WV.

Mrs. Cutlip attended Belington Junior High School and was a Christian
by faith.  She had worked many jobs over the years including, flagging
and in custodial services for hotels and nursing homes.  Patricia was
very organized and blessed with many artistic talents. She could make
something beautiful out of most things others would disregard.  She
loved to take care of her home and cared for her nieces and nephews as
if they were her own children.  She will be dearly missed by all who
knew and loved her.

Patricia is survived by: a sister, Evelyn Thorne Johns (Cory) of
Arkansas and a brother, David Thorne (Patty) of Belington, WV.  In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda
Kay (Thorne) Carr and a brother, Ray Thorne.

Patricia's family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 28, 2025,
12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services
will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Johnny
Goldizen officiating.  Interment will be in the South Branch Valley
