Patricia Hope Dickinson , age 78, of Onley, MD, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Casey House-Montgomery Hospice in Rockville, MD. She was born on January 8, 1941, in Riverton, WV, the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel "Kitty" (Teter) Dove. Patricia married Nelson Dickinson, who preceded her in death in April 1976.

Mrs. Dickinson was a 1960 graduate of Circleville High School and was Miss CHS during the 1957-58 school year. She had worked in the 1970's for the Department of Commerce and retired in 2010, after 36 years as a Secretary for NOAA.

Mrs. Dickinson is survived by: a daughter, Patty Faith Johnson and son-in-law, Eddy of Olney, MD; a brother, Alton Dove of Riverton, WV; 2 grandsons, William "Bob" and Thomas Johnson; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: 5 brothers, Robert Worth, Ray, Bruce, Dan, and Gus Dove; 3 sisters, Molly Tidwell, Jeannie Bland, Lillian Teets; and a half sister, Olive Armentrout.

Ms. Dickinson's family will receive friends on Friday, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev.
