Paul Eugene Thompson, Jr ., age 63 of Brandywine, WV, passed away on December 26, 2018 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA. He was born on October 12, 1955, in Lynchburg, Va, the son of the late Mary Catherine Branham Propst and the late Paul Eugene Thompson, Sr. Paul married Ann Marie (Turner) Thompson, who survives in Brandywine.

Mr. Thompson attended Robert Poole High School and The Church of God in Baltimore, MD. He had worked for 22 years at 84 Lumber in Ellicott City, MD.

In addition wife, Paul is survived by: a daughter, Lorie Thompson of Chicora, PA; a son, Rickie Thompson of Tampa, FL; 2 step daughters, Jackie Jansen of Lakewood Ranch, FL, Brittany Turner (Tim of Brandywine; 3 step sons; a sister, Rosa Propst (Bobby) of Brandywine; a brother, Thomas Ware (Ellen) of Canandaigua, NY; 21 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step son.

Mr. Thompson's family will receive friends on Saturday, December 29, 2018, Noon-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
