Paula Gale Watkins, age 72, of Maysville, WV, and formerly of Grafton, WV passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.  She was born on December 2, 1953, in Lexington, KY, the daughter of the late Pastor Woodrow Davidson and Eva Mae (Coomer) Roberts.  Paula married Donald Lee Watkins in 1984 who preceded her in death on July 24, 2024.

Ms. Watkins graduated from Breathitt County High School in Jackson, KY and was a Baptist in faith.  In her early years, Paula worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and later she and Donald owned and managed Watkins Trucking.  However, her greatest accomplishment was being a mother and homemaker to her family.  She enjoyed traveling, working puzzles, and going to craft shows.  Paula especially loved crafting her own country décor.

Paula leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Cinda Lou (Chapman) Rodgers (Dale) of Maysville, WV; a sister, Judy Davidson (Daniel Overbee) of Shelbyville, KY; 3 Grandchildren, Latasha Gayle Rodgers, Brandon L Rodgers, and Emily Husband.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Lincoln Rodgers and 2 brothers, Woodrow and Hubert Davidson.
