Phyllis Yvonne
Armentrout
October 1, 1936 – January 20, 2021
Phyllis Yvonne Armentrout , 84, of Seneca Rocks, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at WVU Medical Center in Morgantown, WV, from natural causes.
Phyllis was born on October 1, 1936, to Raymond Nelson & Goldie McDonald in Mill Creek, WV. After attending grade school in Teterton, WV, Phyllis attended Circleville High School until 1954. After school, she landed her first job as a line worker for Hanover Shoe Company for approximately 20 years.
In 1944, she met John Kisamore, and they wed in 1954, going on to have 3 children, Goldie Pearl Kisamore Teter, Craig J. Kisamore, and Dan J. Kisamore. In the mid 1970's Phyllis married Earl Armentrout and spent their days together laughing and enjoying the time with family.
When Phyllis had Goldie, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Phyllis excelled at propping up members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether that was supporting her husband or her kids through rough times or helping to reach their dreams, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.
Phyllis was passionate about gardening, cooking, and living her life to the dedication of God. When she wasn't filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found in her chair at home reading her Bible. We will miss her greatly.
Phyllis was predeceased by her parents and Corporal John Martin Kisamore, and Jamie Elizabeth Teter (Grandchild). She is survived by Earl Armentrout (Husband) of Seneca Rocks, WV, Ruth Nelson Raines (Sister) and husband Elton of Seneca Rocks, WV, Walter Leroy Hedrick (Brother) and wife Linda of Maysville, WV, Diana Hedrick Martin (Sister) of Maysville, WV, Goldie Pearl Kisamore Teter (Daughter) and husband James of Port Orange, FL, Craig J.
