Polly Ann Hoover , age 80, of Franklin, WV, formerly of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Pendleton Manor, in Franklin, WV. She was born on November 29, 1939, in Yadkinville, NC, the daughter of the late Simeon and Emma (Farmer) Hutchens and the late Otto and Lucy (Willard) Cayton. Polly married Arvin Junior Hoover, who preceded her in death on July 24, 2011.

Mrs. Hoover attended Pendleton County Schools. She was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church and attended Brandywine Baptist Church. Polly retired from Hanover Shoe Company.

Mrs. Hoover is survived by: a sister, Jamie Thompson DiMarco (Lou) of Franklin, WV; and nieces and nephews, James Beamen of North Carolina, Craig Thompson of Brandywine, WV, and Julie Evick of Franklin, WV. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
