Ralph Emerson Arbogast, age 91, of Circleville, WV, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022, at Stonerise Nursing Home in Keyser, WV.  He was born on May 30, 1931, in Thornwood, WV, the son of the late Truman and Eva (Simmons) Arbogast.  On February 1, 1951, Ralph married Bettie Ruth (Vance) Arbogast, who preceded in death on February 22, 2015.

Mr. Arbogast attended Circleville High School and was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church. Ralph drove truck for many years and farmed for a living. He loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, watching westerns, making hay with his brother Dave, riding his 3 wheeler and cycle, and playing practical jokes on his family. The real highlight of his life was living in the Sinks country.

Mr. Arboga s t leaves behind to cherish his memories: 3 daughters, Cathy Zirkle Moyer (David) of Broadway VA; Caron Warner (Carl) of Circleville, WV; Joyce Helman (Larry) of Moorefield, WV; 7 grandchildren, Jeffrey Zirkle (Kelly), Rebecca Zirkle Reid (Aaron), Dawn Warner Halterman (Mark), Wendy Warner Colaw (Jeremy), Jodie Warner Wimer (Matt), Tara Barkley Cook (Robert), Elisha Barkley Shreve (Jesse); 14 great-grandchildren; and 6 step great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, David Arbogast; Price Arbogast; Paul Arbogast; 3 sisters, Nila Good; Irma Propst- Day; Mary Judy Harper; and  a son-in-law, Robert Zirkle.

Mr. Arbogast's family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2022, 6-8 PM at the North Fork Baptist Church, Riverton, WV.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at the North Fork Baptist Church in Riverton, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Debra Lucas officiating.  Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV.  Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
