Ralph A. "Toby" Givens Sr., age 83, of Georgetown, DE and Cabins, WV, passed away on September 3, 2021, at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood, WV. He was born on February 6, 1938, in Georgetown, DE, the son of the late Raymond Thomas Givens and Ethel (Conoway) Givens. Ralph married Carol Mae (Shedaker) Givens on September 13, 1959, who survives in Cabins, WV.

Mr. Givens attended school in Delaware and retired from DuPont as a supervisor in Seaford, DE. He and his wife Carol also owned Givens Flowers and Gifts in Georgetown, DE. He attended South Branch Baptist Church in Petersburg and was a member of the American Legion Post #28, U.S. Jaycees, and Redmen of Delaware. Ralph's greatest passions in life were his grandchildren and spending time at his WV home among his neighbors and loving community at North Fork Retreat.

In addition to his wife, Ralph is survived by: 3 sons, Andy Givens (Holly) of Georgetown, DE; Tommy Givens (Joann Chipetta) of Lewes, DE; and Jimmy Givens (Kim) of Georgetown, DE; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by: 1 brother, Merrill Givens; 2 sisters, Marie Johnson; Thelma McClure.

At Mr. Givens request, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at their home in Cabins, WV for friends and family on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Matt Perrine officiating.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com
