Reginald Wesley" Reggie"  Kimble , age 89, formerly of Petersburg, WV passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV.  He was born on August 7, 1934 in Upper Tract, WV, the son of the late Olie Franklin and Viola May (Harman) Kimble.

Mr. Kimble attended school in Upper Tract, WV and formerly went to the Main St. United Methodist Church in Petersburg.  He began his career as an entrepreneur with Kimble Home Improvement Services in Virginia and Maryland before moving back to West Virginia where he was the owner and operator of the Arthurmart in Arthur, WV.  Reggie was also a member of the American Legion, Post 78 in Grant County.

Reggie is survived by: 3 daughters, Kay Simmons (Stanley) of Upper Tract, WV; Sueann Marie (Grant) of Gulfport, MS, Annabell Glaser of Hartford, CT; a son Reginald "Dannie" Kimble (Susan) of Upper Tract, WV; 2 sisters, Mildred Riggleman of Upper Tract, WV; Elaine Keplinger of Upper Tract, WV; 11 Grandchildren, Wesley, DJ, Donnie, Kari, Christopher, Melissa, Austin, Shaina, Coelena, Roger, Brendan; and 10 Great-Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by: a brother, Alvin Kimble and a sister, Wanda Showalter.

Reginald's family will receive friends on Thursday, March 28, 2024, 12-2PM at the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Cheryl George officiating.  Interment will be in the Kline Cemetery, Kline, WV.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
