Robert Evan Crider, age 60, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 14, 1962, in Harrisonburg, VA, the son of the late Luther Wayne "Pap" and Anna Lee "Bootie" Crider. On November 18, 1982, Robert married Wendy (Eye) Crider, who survives in Brandywine.

Robert attended Franklin High School and was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Franklin, WV. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, WVU Sports, and playing softball in Brandywine. Robert had worked as a truck driver for 8 years for Superior Concrete. Robert loved spending time with his family and treasured every moment with them.

In addition to his wife, Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory: a daughter, Kimberly Ann Reyes (Fredy) of Brandywine, WV; a son, Joshua Wayne Crider (Lindsay Kazarick) of Brandywine, WV; 4 sisters, Deborah Eye of Brandywine, WV, Cathy Adams (Mike) of Brandywine, WV, Sharon Wheeler of Broadway, VA, Rebecca Sager (Mark) of Broadway, VA; a sister-in-law, Juanita "Dee" Crider of Knoxville, TN; 3 granddaughters, Aliya, Kayleigh, Yaslin; 1 grandson, Lucas; and his 3 "furry friends", Roxy, Harley, and Noodle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Joseph Wayne Crider.

In honoring Robert's wishes, his body has been cremated. His family will receive friends on Saturday, February 11, 2023, 5-6:30 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 6:30 PM in the funeral home chapel with Father Dan Pisano officiating.
