Roland Jennings Bennett, age 92, of Circleville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 29, 1932, on Hunting Ground, WV, the son of the late Robert Jennings and Josie Leona (Vandevander) Bennett.

Roland graduated from Romney School for the Deaf and Blind and was a Presbyterian by faith. He had worked for Coca Cola for 35 years, before retiring in 1996. Roland was a very independent man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a passion for traveling and had even ventured on a cruise.

Roland leaves behind to cherish his memory: a brother, Frank Bennett of Circleville, WV; his caretaker, Becky Hedrick of Circleville, WV; a nephew, John Hoover (Sharon) of Harrisonburg, VA; 5 nieces, Sherry Cassell (Billy) of Durbin, WV, Patti Bennett of Elkins, WV, Donna Herchfelt (Paul) of Ohio, Cathy Peto (Steve) of Ohio, Diana Corliss of Texas; and several aunt, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Twins Richard G. "Pee Wee" and Harold Bennett and Ralph "Fuzzy" Bennett; 2 sisters, Ruth Hoover and Marjorie Bennett; and a step-nephew, William "Bill" Long.

In honoring Roland's wishes, his body has been cremated and a private memorial service will be on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Wimer Cemetery in Circleville, WV, with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating and Harold Mullenax..Memorials may be made to: Mountain View Church or Mt.
