Rosalee Grogg , age 78, of Sugar Grove, WV, left her earthly home to be reunited with her husband and loving fur-baby BoBo, on March 18, 2024, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 23, 1945, on Allegheny Mountain in Pocahontas County, WV., the daughter of the late William Thomas and Gladys Lee Vandevander. On December 24, 1966, Rosalee married the love of her life, Dolan Ray Grogg, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2014.

Rosalee was a 1967 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of St. Paul Independent Lutheran Church. Rosalee enjoyed reading, flowers and watching sports on TV (especially WVU, Yankees, Patriots, Nascar, and Westerns) and was very talented at cooking. She took pride in raising her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Rosalee leaves behind to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Marleta A. Wimer (Marvin "Junior) of Franklin, WV, Terri L. Grogg (Claude Castleberry) of Franklin; a son, Steven D. Grogg of Petersburg, WV; 3 brothers, Don William Vandevander (Delores) of Berkeley Springs, WV, Garland Vandevander of Hinton, VA, Lee Vandevander of St. Mary's, WV; 5 grandchildren, Leana Leap (Clint Davis), Dakota Grogg (Danielle), William Grogg (Dora), Madison Grogg (Anthony Mauzy), Skyler Grogg; 1 step-granddaughter, LaBreeska Kimble; 5 great-grandchldren (and one on the way); 1 step-great-grandson,; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalee's family will receive friends on Sunday, March 24, 2024, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral homce chapel, with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Sugar Grove, WV.
