Rosetta Mae Hartman, age 80, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin. She was born on July 28, 1938, in Upper Tract, WV, the daughter of the late Obed and Vergie (Landis) Kimble. Rose was preceded in death on March 3, 1979, by her first husband and father of her children, Earl Lafayette Huffman, and on January 4, 2017, by her second husband, Edwin P. Hartman.

Rosetta attended Upper Tract Schools and was a farmer, homemaker, and loving mother/grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Rose is survived by: 2 sons, John Paul Huffman (Lori) of Franklin, Billy H. Huffman (Anita) of Franklin; 2 grandchildren, Brittany (Huffman) Nicely and Kevin, and Hunter Huffman, all of Franklin; a step son, Edwin "Eddie" Hartman (Susan) of Worthington, PA; 4 step grandchildren, Brad and Shawn Hartman of PA, Ashley Puffenbarger (David) of Sugar Grove, WV and Rachel Johnson of Ft. Seybert, WV; 8 step great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, (her twin) Louretta "Lou" (Herbert) Huffman of Arthur, WV, Hilda "Sis" Rohrbaugh of Maysville, WV; and a brother, Eston Delmas "Bud" Kimble (Mary) of Maysville. In addition to her parents and spouses, she was preceded in death by: a son, Roy Lee Huffman; daughter-in-law, Cathy Tingler Huffman; 7 brothers, Richard, Raymond Berkley, Harlan "Hun", Donald "Joe", Obed Ray "Gabe", Bobby D., Roy "Nip" Kimble; and a sister, Gladys Whetzel.

Rose's family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2019, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor James Phares officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin.
