Running Deer , age 85, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 1, 1937, in Gainesville, FL, the daughter of the late Eulee and Opal Merle (Cutts) Hall.

Running Deer was a Veteran of the US Navy. She had worked as a "Grandma" at Franklin Elementary School and she had previously worked as a receptionist at Park Motel in Petersburg, WV. Running Deer loved children and reading to children.

Running Deer leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Cloud Ramirez of Virginia, Mariana Lamas (Cody Jameson) of Circleville, WV; a son, Santiago Lamas of Franklin, WV; and 4 grandchildren.
