Samuel Keith Kile , age 89, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin. He was born on March 29, 1929 in Kline, WV, the son of the late George Arthur and Cleta Mae (Mallow) Kile.

Mr. Kile attended Schmucker Schoolhouse and graduated from Franklin High School. He graduated from Potomac State College with a Bachelor's Degree and from WVU with a Master's Degree. Sam attended Mt. Hope Lutheran Church and retired as Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Hampshire County, where he had also worked as a school teacher. He was a Veteran of the US Navy.

Mr. Kile is survived by: 2 sisters, Kathleen Lotspeich of Morgantown, WV, Eleanor Triem of Eugene, OR; a brother, Stanley Kile and wife Ruth of Franklin; nieces and nephews, Susan Vill, Mike and Joe Triem, Tammy Coyle, Dan Kile, Connie David, Ellen Guthrie, Karen Carr, Richard Gregory Kile, Mary Evelyn Stone, Theresa Bowers, Elwood Kile, Matthew Kile, Nancy King, William Lotspeich, Dale Kile, Sherri Schafer, and James William Kile. He was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Carroll D, Richard, and George Arlin Kile; and a sister, Dortha Thompson.
