Sandra Gail "Sandy" Myers , age 71, of Petersburg, WV, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg. She was born on August 4, 1946 in Spencer, WV, the daughter of the late Hobert Bacil and Carrie Mae (Jett) Myers.

Miss Myers was a 1965 graduate of Hurricane High School and she had attended Potomac State and West Virginia State Colleges. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church and was a former caregiver and homemaker.

Miss Myers is survived by: a daughter, Paula Leslie and husband Lawrence of Hometown, WV; a sister, Sharon K. Craigo and husband Tony of Red House, WV; a brother, Hobert Bennett Myers and wife Brenda of Scherr, WV; 2 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Miss Myers' family will receive friends on Friday, June 29, 2018, 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Hobert "Benji" Myers officiating. Interment will be in South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg.
