Sarah Marie Goldsmith Decker, age 55, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 14, 2025.  Sarah was born in Elkins, WV on February 10, 1970 to the late Okey Dale and Kay (Harron) Goldsmith.

Ms. Decker attended Petersburg High School and had previously worked at Pilgrim's Pride in Moorefield, WV.  She was married to David Decker in 2009.  They loved to walk the beach and fish together.  Sarah loved her family and was very involved with everyone around her.  She had a way of making everyone laugh and will be greatly missed.

Sarah is preceded in death by her husband, David Decker; her son, Joey McDonald; and a brother, Kenny Goldsmith.  She is survived by: her daughter, Carrie Ann Pinto; Grandchildren, Levi; Skylar; Mathew; and Esabella; siblings, Madeline Ours; Sandra Harman; Bubby Goldsmith; Bruce Alfman; Charles Smith; Isaac Smith; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV with Pastor Frank Ketterman officiating.
