Stephen Michael Valkos, age 27, of Petersburg, WV, passed away at his home on Thursday, August 19, 2021. Mr. Valkos was born on November 11, 1993 in Martinsburg, WV. He is the son of Denise Renee (Kuhns) Valkos of Petersburg and the late Stephen Charles Valkos.

Mr. Valkos was a 2012 graduate of Petersburg High School and was employed by Callahan Brothers LLC where he worked in windmill construction. He attended Believers Victory Center in Moorefield, WV and was a member of the Chain Breakers Recovery Group. Stephen loved his friends dearly and will be sadly missed by all.

Stephen is survived by: a daughter, Addalyn Grace Valkos of Moorefield, WV; 3 sisters, Melissa Valkos of Petersburg, WV ; Megan Hoffman (Cory) of Tunnelton, WV; and Kacie Valkos of Petersburg,WV; a brother, Nick Valkos of Petersburg, WV. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher R Valkos.

Mr. Valkos' family will receive friends on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021, 5-7 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
