Steven Ray McClanahan, age 60 of Sugar Grove, WV, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017 at CAMC in Charleston, WV. He was born in Charleston, WV on July 22, 1957, the son of the late Virgil and Ruby Burford McClanahan.

Mr. McClanahan was a graduate of Sissonville High School. He loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and the outdoors. He had worked for Riddleberger Brothers as an HVAC Technician.

Mr. McClanahan is survived by: his fiance, Rebecca Beane of Sugar Grove; 2 daughters, Sabrina "Sam" McClananhan of Sissonville, WV, Tiffany Mills and husband Chris of Jonesboro, GA; a son, Brady L. McClanahan and wife Cheryl of Sugar Grove; 2 sisters, Maryann Addison of Mineral Wells, WV, Patsy Westfall and husband Earl of Palestine, WV; 3 brothers, Virgil Lee McClanahan and wife Millie of Kellys Creek, WV, Delbert "Bill" McClanahan and wife Jenny of Sissonville, Ricky McClanahan and wife Annie of Sissonville; 4 grandchidlren, Jordan Scott Turner of Sissonville, Wyatt Jamison Franklin of Sissonville, Braden Allen McClanahan of Sugar Grove, and Ruby Catherine McClanahan of Sugar Grove. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie "Buck" McClanahan.
