Susie Marie White , age 68, of Sugar Grove, WV, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. She was born on June 14, 1954, in Durbin, WV, the daughter of the late Thomas Earl "Chic" and Ernistine "Sis" (Moats) Cook. On March 3, 1985, Susie married William "Arnold" White, who survives in Sugar Grove, WV.

Susie attending Durbin Elementary School and Green Bank High School. She attended Eternal Faith Baptist Church and she had worked at Mansion Home Layers. Susie loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Susie leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Patricia Simmons (Joe Deavers) of Brandywine, WV; a son, Patrick White (Ashlyn) of Sugar Grove, WV; 2 step daughters, Tammy Shreve of Coalton, WV, Pamela Judy (Johnny) of Franklin, WV; a step son, Jeffery White of Chloe, WV; a sister, Carmen Moyers (Eb) of Franklin, WV; 14 grandchildren, Wesley Simmons (Katelyn), Brittnay Simmons, Alyssa Stumbo, Robert Deavers (Tai), Cordell White, Maison White, Waylon White, Abby White, Joseph White, Jenifer Richmond, Megan Sheets, Jessica Judy, Kyle Judy, and Kayla Judy; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a brother, Tommy Cook; and 2 sisters, Marsha McLaughlin and Carolyn Moyers.

In honoring Susie's wishes, her body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
