Teresa L. Harper , age 68, of Seneca Rocks, WV, left her earthly home after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at WV Caring Hospice in Elkins, WV, surrounded by her family. She was born on April 28, 1957, in Petersburg, WV, the daughter of the late Fay Howard and Dorothy Louise (Nelson) Bennett.

Teresa was a 1975 graduate of Circleville High School and was a member of High Rock Church. She had a big heart and she enjoyed babysitting and loved her pets, Lily, Tigger, Macie, Gracie, Benley, Halo, Missy, and Rowdy. Her passion was photography and spending time with her family. Teresa encompassed all aspects of life and left a legacy to be cherished.

Teresa leaves behind to cherish her memory: 4 daughters, Lisa Montgomery (Kenny) of Grafton, WV, Joanie Carr (Doug) of Seneca Rocks, WV, Betsy Bland (Elvis) of Seneca Rocks, WV, Amy Cook (Kasie) of Maysville, WV; 1 brother, Gregory Howard Bennett (Cindy) of Circleville, WV; 4 grandchildren, Jaimee Carr (Matt), Tyler Carr, Matthew Shahan (Amy), Makenzie Shahan; nieces and nephews, Candi, Philip, Randy, Miranda, Betty; life-long sisters, Lucy Kisamore of Riverton, WV, Rebecca Funk (Mike) of Rowlesburg, WV; and several great nieces and nephews.

Teresa's family will receive friends on Monday, March 23, 2026, 5-7 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 11:00 AM at High Rock Church, Seneca Rocks, WV, with Pastor J.D. Wilkins officiating.
