Teresita Feliprada "Teri" Mundy , age 81, of Riverton, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. She was born on April 1, 1940, in Negros Occidental, Phillipines. In August of 1976, Teri married Donald Philip Mundy, who survives in Riverton.

Mrs. Mundy was a graduate of Notre Dame of Banga-Phillipines High School and Notre Dame University of Cotabato Phillipines where she obtained a Bachelor Degree in Science Education. She had special training courses at Norte Dame Institute (Catechetics and Leadership Progam) and Josuit Novaliches Manila where she specialized in group dynamics. Teri was involved in the Diocesan Cotabato leadership program, was a teacher at Notre Dame Schools, a substitute teacher in Wyoming County and Pendleton County, the Clinic Receptionist at North Fork Primary Care for several years, and a school librarian. She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Franklin, WV and Catechist Eucharistic Minister.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mundy is survived by: a daughter, FePauline Whoolery (Jamie) of Morgantown, WV; and 2 grandchildren, Paul Eric and Philip James. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Roberto, Paulino, Ireneo, Ismael, and Aurelio.

Friends may also pay their respects on Thursday, between the hours of 9-5, with the family receiving friends from 4-5 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. A private Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, April 9, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the church, with Rev. Mario Claro officiating. Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV.
