Terry Teresa Pyles, entered the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her family at her home in Lost City, WV on Monday, December 23, 2024.  She was born on September 23, 1961, in Harrisonburg, VA to the late Shirley Ayers and Wilbert "Web" Rexrode,  although, she was raised by her loving grandparents, Moses and Roxie Halterman.  She is survived by her loving husband, Harlan "Ben" Pyles, who loved and cared for her endlessly.

Terry had many jobs over the years, but none compared to her job as a Mother and Grandmother.  She was the very best and prided herself with the fact that she helped to raise many children who came in and out of Shoemaker Holler.

She was a very religious woman who loved the Lord with all of her heart.  She had a long, brave battle here on Earth and her loving family rejoices in the fact that she is now in the Lord's loving arms.

In addition to her husband, Terry leaves behind to cherish her memory: children, Bambi Peyton; Benjamin Pyles (Stacy); Stacie Bennett (Stacy); Jonathan Smith (DeAnna); Grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob, Brooklynn, and Justin Parker; Benjamin and Samara Pyles; Brody, Stella, Beau, and Baylor Halterman; Great-grandson, Deacon Good; siblings, Lako, Doug, Clay, and Greg Dove.  She was preceded in death by: an infant sister and her cherished brother, Bambie Dove, who held a special place in her heart.
