Thelma Louise Dillon, age 100, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her home. She was born on September 27, 1925, in Monticello, KY, the daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Belle (Reed) Rector. Thelma married Jefferson Young, who preceded her in death and she later married Gary Tresler Dillon, who also preceded her in death.

Thelma had a giving heart and and devoted her time as a Volunteer at the Fisher Titus Hospital in Norwalk, OH. She was a Baptist by faith and had a teaching degree.

Thelma leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Gardiner (Mike) of Franklin, WV; 2 sons, Jefferson Young (Sandy) of Springfield, OH, David Young (Donna) of Peyton, CO; 9 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers.

In honoring Thelma's wishes, her body has been cremated.
