Thomas Mark Burgoyne , age 65, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on December 14, 1957, in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late Shirley Burgoyne. On September 14, 1985, Thomas married Sandra Ellen "Sandy" (Hise) Burgoyne, who survives in Franklin, WV.

Thomas was a 1976 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of Brandywine First Baptist Church. He was a truck driver for L & J Trucking out of Green Bank, WV.

In addition to his wife, Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory: a daughter, Nikki Burgoyne (David Carper) of Strasburg, VA; a son, Jeremy Evans (Kimeran) of Morgantown, WV; a sister, Laura Bilek of Binghampton, NY; and 6 grandchildren, Willa, Declan, Daleigh, Hadley, Camden, and Maddox. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by: a nephew, Ryan Harper; a brother, Michael Burgoyne, and a sister, Maggie Harper.

In honoring Tom's wishes, his body has been cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held later in the Summer.
