Truman Miller, age 77, of Seneca Rocks, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Braxton Healthcare Center, Sutton, WV. Mr. Miller was born on November 5, 1948 in Seneca Rock, the son of the late Denton and Chloe Birdie (Lough) Miller. On December 1, 1976, Truman married his loving wife, Connie Miller who survives in Clay, WV.

Mr. Miller attended school in Seneca Rocks and was a Christian in faith. Truman began working for the Fertig Cabinet Company before retiring after 40 + years of service from Germany Valley Limestone Company. He was known as a hardworking man, who enjoyed mowing grass, taking pride in his garden, and he was an avid hunter. Truman was a true family man who lovingly took care of his wife and handicapped daughter and looked forward to seeing family at reunions and gatherings.

The family would like to say a special 'Thank You' to the Braxton Healthcare Center for their exceptional care and compassion while Truman was in their care!

In addition to his wife, Truman is survived by: 2 daughters, Rosetta "Renee" Truman (Christopher) of Clay, WV; Chrystal Plaugher of Clay, WV; 2 sisters, Josie Champ (Dayton) of Lahmansville, WV; Velma Bland of Onego, WV; 5 brothers-in-law; and 4 sisters-in law.

He was preceded by: 5 brothers, Johnny, Gene, Roosevelt, Dewy, and Worth Miller; 4 sisters, Joy Rio; Mae Sites; Sweetie Vance; Pauline Phares; and 4 sisters–in-laws.

Truman’s family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2026, 10 AM-12 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dusty Twigg officiating. The committal service will be at 2:00 PM at the Flanagan Hill Cemetery, Red Creek, WV.
