Twila Virginia Eye, age 88, of Upper Tract, WV and more recently a resident of Pendleton Manor in Franklin WV, passed away on June 11, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA.  She was born to Hazel and Roosevelt Kimble on October 25, 1936.

Twila spent her working years at Franklin Garment Factory, Hanover Shoe, and retired from Imco in Harrisonburg, VA.  She had attended the Brushy Run Church of God.  Twila took great pride in her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and cherished their visits.  Twila also had a passion for travel, especially to the beach.

Twila leaves behind to cherish her memory: a sister, Patty Snyder (Chester); 3 daughters, Denise Swartz (John); Dana Yokum (Nathan Keplinger); Donita Kimble (Kent); a son, Mark Eye; her grandchildren, Jonathan Swartz (Lauren); Matthew Swartz; Lance Kimble; Andrea Pietron (Nick); Jacklyn Alexander (Jon); Taylor Basagic (Neil); her great-grandchildren, Emma, Evelyn, and Elizabeth Pietron; Hadley and Holden Swartz; Olivia, Zadie, and Zoe Alexander; Sawyer and Rhett Basagic.

Twila's family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 1-2 PM, at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Phillip Marcum officiating.  Interment will be in the Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract, WV.  Memorials may be made to Brushy Run Church of God, c/o Tonya Nesslerodt, 185 Woodlawn Dr. Petersburg, WV 26847.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
