Obituary

Vickie Lynn Losh , age 64, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on July 5, 2022, at her home. She was born on July 5, 1958, in Sugar Grove, WV, the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna Mae (King) Eckard. On July 2, 1988, Vickie married Jesse Losh, who survives in Brandywine.

Vickie was a graduate of Perry Hall High School in Baltimore, MD and she was a member of the Riverside United Methodist Church. She had worked as a supervisor cook for 8 years at the Sugar Grove Naval Base. Vickie's passion was spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Vickie leaves behind to cherish her memories: a son, Christopher Vance (Jessica) of Morgantown, WV; 3 step sons, Michael Losh (Ruby) of Fairmont, WV, Jason Losh (Mandy Davis) of Brandywine, WV, Jeremy Kobetic (Emily) of Brandywine, WV; a sister, Bertha Calhoun (Allen) of Upper Tract, WV; 2 brothers, Teddy Eckard (Judy) of Peru, WV, Charles Eckard of Dorcas, WV; and 15 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Delmas, Elmer, Richard Eckard; and 4 sisters, Anna Lee, Thlema Jean, Mary Frances, and Joyce.

Vickie's family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2022, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Judy Vetter officiating. Interment will be in the Losh Family Cemetery in Brandywine. Memorials may be made to: South Fork Volunteer Fire Department or Potomac Highland Wounded Warriors.
