William Edward Rush, Sr ., age 73, of Franklin, WV, passed way on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA. He was born on July 30, 1951, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late William Benjamin and Naomi (Siefert) Rush. William married Lita Charlene (Webb) Rush, who preceded him in death on February 24, 2022.

Mr. Rush was a graduate of Kenwood High School in Baltimore, MD and retired from Bethlehem Steel as a heavy equipment operator, after 30 plus years of service. He loved fishing, collecting baseball cards, drag racing, and watching western movies. William was a dedicated fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens. He was a Veteran of the US Army.

William leaves behind to cherish his memory: a daughter, Nichole Marie Rush of Baltimore, MD; a son, William Rush, Jr. of Franklin, WV; and a grandson, Dayne Rich McKay.
