Zaneta Ray Williams , age 51 of Franklin, WV, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on May 30, 1967, in Richmonda, VA, the daughter of the late Arnold Ray Willams, Sr., and the late Inez Bell Cash and the late Jim John Cash, Sr.
Zaneta attended Turner Ashby High School and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had a passion for flea markets, playing cards, watching TV, collecting monkeys and Elvis Presley memorabilia, sewing, reading books, and spending time with her family and friends. Zaneta was a member of the Franklin Moose #769.
Ms. Williams is survived by: her companion of 35 years, Ronnie Pine of Franklin; 2 sisters, Miranda "Shorty" Kesterson (Joe) of Franklin, Sherry Hammonds (John Jr.) of Ballard, WV; a brother, Jim John Cash, JR (Audi) of Waynesboro, VA; nephew s, Joseph and Amanda Kesterson of Franklin, Marshall Brooks of Franklin, JJ Bocephus Bennett of Harrisonburg, Jesse Whetzel and Brittany May of Singers Glen, VA, Christopher (CJ) and Heather Bennett of Bruceton Mills, WV, Ronnie Kesner of Waynesboro, VA, TJ Dove of Ballard, WV, Jacob Bowes of Tyaskin, MD; nieces, Cassandra "Sissy" and Justin Bobo of Moorefield, WV, Gwen and Jake Hardin of Ballard, Sophia Bennett of Morgantown, WV; a great-nephew, Brayden Bennett of Bruceton Mills; and 3 great-nieces, Makala Bobo, Katelyn Bobo, Allyssa Steel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arnold Ray William, Jr. and Christopher Robert Williams.
Ms. Williams family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16, 2-3 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints in Franklin. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM at the Church with Bishop David Hartman and Bishop Kyle Apple officiating.
